Assignment 17A

1)

2) From my first elevator pitch I received a lot of valuable feedback. What I realized was important from all the feedback I got is that most people told me I should try to seem more natural. I know that is a hard thing to do, but if I am able to do that and practice enough to where I seem natural, my pitch will be much more convincing. Some more feedback that I got was that I should try to make my pitch a little longer, so on this one I made sure to make it a better length. I was surprised to get so much positive feedback honestly, I understand people will give some positive feedback to be nice but I was expecting more constructive criticism as well.

3) Like I mentioned earlier, I changed the length of my pitch based off the feedback that I received. I also tried to make this pitch seem more natural but I think I still need to work on that. I also tried to be more dynamic with my hand gestures and motions.

  1. Graham,

I thought this pitch came out far more natural than the first one. Your cadence, volume, and flow seemed more natural as if you were talking to someone in your room. I thought the length of the pitch was perfect. It'a really hard to talk to yourself in a camera, I always struggle with trying to sound authentic. I usually just try to pretend im talking to a friend in my room.

  2. Graham,
I think you did an excellent elevator pitch for this assignment. I think you are certainly more natural in this video. I agree with you that become natural when delivering an elevator pitch takes practice and can be hard sometimes. There are also many aspects I have to improve for my pitch. Overall, I think you did improve a lot from the last elevator pitch assignment.

  3. Graham,
I think you made good adjustments from your last interview and improved. You definitely seem more natural in this interview. In addition, you stated how the customer would benefit as an effect of the hangover pack. The timing of the interview was adequate as well. The way you give the pitch makes it seem more personal and that is important when trying to convince an audience.
